Sijo for Lovers Beneath the Earth | by Rick Hollon

Cavern dark, a dungeon chill
        draws warriors and sorcerers
to campfires, shy agreements
        of shared bedrolls, comparing scars.
Dawn glimmers as they stagger out,
        shyness lost in fresh bandages.
