Artist’s Statement:
“I Know It When I See It” are from an ongoing project I’m doing of photographing torn, weathered and graffiti-ed print advertising in NYC. They’re unintentional works of art with a very short lifespan. As subway ads shift towards digital, these paper and wheat-paste collages may all become a thing of the past.
