Confessions of a Hysterical Witch Over the pale white of my naked shoulder I caught the moon’s reflection in the mirror. She shimmered, crater teeth smiling shrewdly, the ghostly fullness of her face turned newly. Heresy wormed its way inside, spread like hives. I was moonstruck, unable to turn back eyes expanded now by her penetrating spell. Listen, listen, listen, hear her burning bell.
